Yosuke Ideguchi has completed his move away from Leeds United, with the midfielder heading to the German second-tier to link up with SpVgg Greuther Fürth.

Ideguchi, 21, is yet to make a competitive appearance for Leeds, having joined the club back in the January transfer window on a long-term contract.

After his departure was confirmed, we discuss if it was a good move for Leeds to make…

I mean it doesn't really affect Leeds one bit does it?

It seems slightly farcical signing the bloke and not playing him once, but in their current form it doesn't really matter.

Hopefully for his sake he finally gets some first-team games under his belt in Germany.

George Dagless

It's a wise move for all involved.

He wasn't going to play much for the Whites this season by the looks of it and he needs to be playing.

Now, if he succeeds over in Germany, they have the option to get him back into the fold come next season.

Chris Gallagher

It's a good move - but what a bad signing he has been.

The Japanese international signed a long-term contract and probably won't end up playing a game for the club.

The fact he is going out on loan highlights the problems Leeds have had with recruitment over the past 18 months, but at least they've managed to get a player Bielsa doesn't want off the wage bill in this instance.

Alfie Burns

It’s good for Ideguchi to get out of Leeds, you just hope the player can get some game time in Germany.

Overall, it’s been a disastrous move for the midfielder, who should now be looking to earn himself a permanent move in Germany.

His spell in England has been a waste of time for everyone involved.
