Derby County fought out a 1-1 draw with Cardiff City last night in the Friday evening Championship game.

The Rams threw away an early first half lead to allow the Bluebirds to take a point back to Wales, as Robert Glatzel's goal from the penalty spot cancelled out Scott Malone's opener.

It meant the wait goes on for new Rams manager Phillip Cocu to get his second win of the season, and there was already signs of frustration among the Derby fans.

One of the big frustrations of the night seemed to be the performance of attacking midfielder Tom Lawrence, who put in another average display as he continues to fall below the standard he set last season under Frank Lampard.

Indeed, Lawrence was once again shown a yellow card, meaning he will miss next weekend's trip to Elland Road as the Rams take on Leeds United.

Following the game, there was plenty of annoyance directed the way of Lawrence from Rams fans on Twitter.
