Mel Morris has claimed that there were around 15 enquiries about Derby County over the weekend from potential buyers.

The Rams financial problems have been well-documented over the years and they reached a new low on Friday night when it was confirmed the club are set for administration.
That means that those appointed will be tasked with finding a new buyer, and Morris told Derbyshire Live that there is already plenty of interest in the east Midlands outfit. He stated that there has been contact made from 15 interested parties, whilst he described a few of them as ‘very serious’.

Even though that is positive news within what is a bleak period for the club, there are still many questions that Derby fans had for Morris, who didn’t outline the level of debts the club has, which is going to influence who is interested.
Here we look at some of the reaction from Twitter…
The subject of the stadium was lightly skipped over right at the end. What will happen with the ownership of pride park?

Would have been helpful to get him to quantify the debt to qualify that statement

I guess the administrators will be more open about what the level of debt is as they seek out potential purchasers.

The next one is to keep an eye on his ownership of the stadium, he might not let go so easily!

Why sign Bielik for £10m when the club was obviously in trouble? Why not sell season tickets when all other clubs were. Why no ticket office? Why half food outlets, the yard, backyard, fans marquee all closed?

How many will walk away knowing the debts and stadium ownership….. Someone could pay £1 for the club. But owe nearly 100mil to other parties.
