If Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa had any doubts about how tough a Championship campaign could be, then the last few weeks will have shown him exactly what to expect as his rejuvenated and stream-lined squad has been stretched to the limit.

Injuries and suspensions to key personnel has coincided with a drop in form, that saw Leeds relinquish the lead in the Championship and has pushed Bielsa to continue his search for new recruits for Elland Road.

One option to consider is attacker Jarrod Bowen of Hull City who has scored four times in 13 starts for the Tigers this season.

He's likely to be a man in demand in January, and it'd be no surprise to see Leeds among a number of clubs clamouring for his signature.

So should Bielsa make a move for Bowen in January?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

He would provide a good amount of depth in attacking areas for Bielsa’s side.

But I’m not sure he would be worth the hefty price tag that Hull are likely to want for their star man.

Bowen wouldn’t make it into the starting XI at Leeds so he would have to think about that before even considering a move to Elland Road.

If first-team football was on offer at Leeds, then Bowen would be an excellent addition for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

George Dagless

A useful signing.

Leeds need some extra spark going forwards at the moment and Bowen might help add that.

The Whites will start scoring again soon but Bowen would be a good addition.

Jay Taylor

It would certainly be a move that would be an exciting one.

Jarrod Bowen is possibly Hull’s most influential and creative player.

He would add more strength and depth into the attacking areas as Leeds look to sustain a promotion push come the New Year.

Gary Hutchinson

I do like Bowen and he’s wasted at Hull.

What would he cost though? Adkins isn’t going to sell him in the middle of a relegation battle, not unless there’s significant money changing hands.

There’s value in sides hunting him, but January is silly season for prices and Leeds wouldn’t want to be sucked in to paying over the odds, not when a cut price deal might present itself in the summer.
