Former Aston Villa favourite Paul McGrath has revealed just how much the club means to him in a passionate message to fans ahead of Saturday's crucial play-off clash.

The 58-year old had a hugely successful career which included over 250 games for Villa and two League Cup victories. His performances saw him referred to as 'God' by the supporters who still remember all he did for the club.

And, he still clearly has a lot of affection for the West Midlands side going by his latest twitter post.

McGrath told how he loves the club, as well as adding that 'Saturday is ours', with Villa taking on Fulham at Wembley for a place in the Premier League.

The game is dubbed the richest in world football and will be a huge occasion for both clubs, with Villa looking to end a two-year stay outside the top-flight.
