Coventry City midfielder Tom Bayliss is reportedly attracting interest from the likes of Leeds United, Middlesbrough and Newcastle United.

Reports from the Sunday People (05/05, page 51) claim that the 20-year old is a target for the aforementioned high-profile clubs after a hugely impressive couple of years for the Sky Blues.

The midfielder played an integral role in City's promotion from League Two last season and has netted three times and produced three assists for Mark Robins' side this time around, where the Midlands side narrowly missed out on a League One play-off finish.

After signing a long-term four-year deal in September, Bayliss is likely to cost a lot of money but the lure of a move to a club like Leeds United could be too much for both the player and the club to turn down.

Here, we discuss whether he would be a good signing for Leeds...

George Harbey

"Bayliss is a tremendous talent and would be an excellent signing for Leeds.

"At 20-years old, he is such a mature player and is hugely important for Coventry City.

"Leeds need to strengthen their midfield, and Bayliss should be a regular starter if they stay in the Championship this season."

Louie Chandler

"This would be a very smart signing.

"Leeds have lacked somebody like Bayliss in midfield all season. Somebody to carry the ball forward and create.

"They should really go for this one."

George Brooks

"I think a lot of it will depend on what division Leeds are in next season.

"Bayliss is already a good player and he has his best years ahead of him.

"Bielsa has shown that he is prepared to give young players a chance this season and Bayliss could be a good signing for the Whites, but he may be tempted by a move to Newcastle."
