Marcus Harness joined Portsmouth from Burton Albion in the summer in what was a big move between two League One sides.

He's been in brilliant form for Pompey, and despite picking up an injury meaning he missed a couple games, he's been a shining spark in a rather dismal start for Kenny Jackett's side.

The winger has scored a couple of goals in the league and even netted one in a fantastic victory at Championship side QPR in the Carabao Cup.

Portsmouth fans were delighted with the news that he'd signed in the summer, and even more so as Jamal Lowe was just about to depart to Championship side, Wigan. One supporter stated how the side looked harder to beat as Harness joined and that it was great work from the club to get him through the door.

Another fan said that he was a class signing but that it was important to see whether the 23-year-old was just a replacement for Lowe or an added signing to the team.

None of the Pompey fans had any problem with the signing and all of them were very supportive in the move. This seemed to help him settle in, as although the side hasn't done to well this season, he has been a shining light in Portsmouth's attacking play.

His pace and direct play makes him one of the most exciting talents in the third division, and if Jackett can get him back up to full speed after his injury, then Pompey will have the Harness that started the season and that will be a massive bonus to the side as they look to continue to improve.

He's certainly proving the supporters right to be happy with his arrival, and hopefully that will continue for the youngster.
