League One Coventry City have refused to comment on recent media speculation regarding their future at the Ricoh Arena, insisting that talks are ongoing with Rugby Union side Wasps about their future at the stadium.

Earlier on Wednesday, Sky Sports had reported that a European Commission has blocked a potential return for Coventry to the Ricoh Arena, which is currently owned by Wasps.

It is thought that a ground share option could be brought into place for Coventry, with Birmingham City's St Andrews' Stadium among the grounds said to be available, although the Sky Blues would prefer to remain at The Ricoh Arena.

Taking to Twitter to respond to those reports of a return to Ricoh being blocked, the club refused to make any comment, claiming that talks with Wasps about extending their stay at the ground are continuing.

Responding to the club's update, a number of Coventry fans still appeared far from certain about the future of their football club, with many hoping for a quick resolution to the discussions.

Here are some of the best of those reactions.
