If new Terriers boss Danny Cowley had any illusions about the task ahead of him at Huddersfield Town, then his second defeat in a row against West Brom at the weekend should have brought him back to reality.

The 4-2 defeat leaves Cowley's side rock bottom of the Championship with just a single point to show for their opening seven fixtures of the season.

Cowley though, is already looking to strengthen his squad, with Exeter City winger Randell Williams a target, according o a report on TEAMtalk.

So would Williams be a good addition to Cowley's side? Is he needed?

We discuss........

Ned Holmes

"I think this could be a good addition for Danny Cowley at Huddersfield.

"His current side have looked lacklustre so far this season, so adding a new young forward could freshen things up a bit.

"Williams has been brilliant for Exeter this season, providing three assists and helping them to climb to top of League One.

"Huddersfield will surely be looking long term by bringing in Cowley and signing Williams could be a move that fits with that."

Alfie Burns

“There seems to be a real lack of quality in the wide areas when it comes to Huddersfield at the moment and Williams would improve things.

“Yes, he’s only 22 and playing in League Two, but five assists isn’t to be sniffed at you can see what he would add to Cowley’s squad.

“Given where Cowley has come from, he will certainly know a fair bit about Williams and this feels like a signing you’d expect him to make for the Terriers.

“A sign of the changing times.”

Chris Thorpe

"I think this would be a good signing for Danny Cowley.

"Williams is a player that would add some much needed creativity and dynamism to a team that is lacking any players who can make a difference in tight games.

"This signing would largely depend on what formation Cowley decides to play his side in, as with him only just arriving at the club, he is still trying to establish his preferred system.

"Williams would also help to get the best out of Huddersfield's misfiring front line, who have been largely ineffectual this season."
