Nottingham Forest are among a host of Championship clubs that want to sign Harry Wilson on loan from Liverpool before the domestic deadline passes this week.

The Welsh international is way down the pecking order at Anfield and has spent the last few years on loan, including a season with Bournemouth in the Premier League last season.

However, a failure to secure a top-flight transfer this summer means Wilson's only realistic chance of game time will be in the Championship and Telegraph reporter John Percy has revealed that Forest, Derby, Cardiff and Swansea all want the 23-year-old.

Whoever lands the wide man would be getting a proven player at this level, as Wilson starred for the Rams in 2018/19, scoring 16 goals as Frank Lampard's men reached the play-off final before losing to Aston Villa.
