The Queens Park Rangers faithful will be struggling to find any positives to take from the opening four matches of the 2018/19 Championship campaign.

Sat bottom of the league table, and the only side in the division yet to pick up any points, the Hoops will be hoping that fortunes will turn in their favour as the season progresses.

Following the replacement of Ian Holloway with managerial veteran Steve McClaren, there was somewhat of a positive buzz around Loftus Road, as the QPR fans began to believe they could finally turn their beloved football club around and back towards success.

But, after suffering four defeats from their opening four league fixtures, including an embarrassing display against West Bromwich Albion which saw McClaren’s side concede seven, things look to be going from bad to worse for QPR.

We discuss what the worst of these decisions were over the last three torrid months for Queens Park Rangers.

Alfie Burns

Sacking Ian Holloway.

Holloway did an excellent job at Loftus Road, with QPR only realising now that they might’ve made a huge mistake moving him on.

He got the best out of a poor squad, and in reality, had them over performing.

Christian Fuller

Appointing Steve McClaren.

Whilst Ian Holloway wasn’t doing a great job, and I am not saying he was the right man to get Queens Park Rangers out of the woeful period they are going through now, but McClaren is not either.

Already with a terrible record this season, you do fear for QPR and how bad things could get at Loftus Road.

A real stupid decision.
