Millwall could be in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer and Jamal Blackman appears to be available.

Sheffield United benefited from his services on loan last season but they have moved for Dean Henderson instead, meaning that other Championship clubs might consider the 24-year-old, who is down the pecking order at Chelsea.

But should the Lions swoop for Blackman on loan this summer?

Jordan Archer did a pretty good job in between the sticks for the Lions last season, so there isn't a pressing issue to sign a new keeper. Blackman enjoyed a great season at Chris Wilder's Sheffield United last year on loan from Chelsea, and another loan move away would be perfect for his development, I'm just not sure if Millwall would be the ideal fit. Louie Chandler This would be a great signing for Millwall and a real statement of their intent to push further for promotion this season. Jordan Archer did OK for the Lions last season but was prone to mistakes. Blackman was impressive on loan at Sheffield United and would be a definite upgrade. Jay Williams Millwall certainly need an upgrade on Archer because he was prone to the odd mistake. Blackman would provide solidity between the sticks, as shown in his loan spell at Sheffield United last season, and would definitely be an improvement on Archer.
