Preston North End defender Patrick Bauer has chosen to donate his match worn play-off final shirt from Charlton Athletic's League One season last year.

The German scored an injury time winner to send Charlton back into the Championship. The score was level at 1-1 before the defenders 94th-minute goal, and it's one that'll land him in Charlton folklore for years to come.

He moved to Preston last summer though, and has since featured 33 times in the Championship for his new club, scoring twice.

The 27-year-old announced on Twitter yesterday that he'd be selling his play-off final shirt in a raffle, and donating the money to the 'Jack Jeffreys Superhero Trust'.

Bauer's generosity has drawn praise from all football fans, and Charlton fans have been eager to buy their ticket for the raffle.
