“I mean, he played over 40 games for Cardiff last season and with Sheffield Wednesday releasing SamHutchinson it’s been a problem area for them.”
With Massimo Luongo’s future yet to be determined, Will Vaulks would be an excellent addition to the Owls’ midfield, especially when letting go of a versatile option in Sam Hutchinson.
Possessing excellent levels of tenacity and intelligence, Vaulks is someone who could thrive in Sheffield Wednesday’s midfield, alongside more creative options in Barry Bannan and George Byers.
Of course, the fact that the other four teams are in the Championship will provide a complication for Wednesday’s pursuit of Vaulks, however, the ambition of the Owls could bolster their chances.
Also, it is likely that he would more regular minutes at Hillsborough than any of the other clubs who are currently in the running.
