Sheffield United fans will be extremely relieved with the news that Chris Wilder is set to sign a new deal at the club, meaning they can now look forward to next season.
The former Oxford manager has done a superb job since taking over his boyhood club and whilst this season ultimately ended in disappointment, the fact the newly-promoted side finished in the top 10 shows the progress they've made under Wilder.
With off the field uncertainty threatening to hinder the Blades, the fact Wilder is closing in on a new deal suggests he sees a positive future at the club.
Therefore, the ambitious boss will no doubt be targeting a top six finish in 12 months time.
However, as we saw in the past few months, to do that the Yorkshire side will need a few quality additions to strengthen the squad.

Wilder has found gems in the lower leagues regularly in his career and Nsiala could be another one.
He has been a key defender this season for Shrewsbury who have enjoyed a magnificent campaign and whether they go up or not, Wilder should try and bring him to Bramall Lane.
Stearman has been solid since joining at the start of this season.
O'Connell had a great campaign and provides real balance on the left side of the three.
The right wing-back role brings the best out of Baldock who loves to get forward.
His season-ending injury in November was a turning point for the Blades and everyone connected with the club will be delighted to have Coutts back this summer.
The former Wolves man has settled in very well since arriving in January.
The Scottish midfielder is pivotal to the way the Blades play and tries to set the tempo from the middle.
Another who suits the system, as he can get forward and put quality into the box.
Wilder has criticised the Blades this season for not being ruthless enough but that would change with Marriott in the team.
He has scored 27 goals in League One this season and whilst there would be competition for his signature, he would make a big difference for the Blades.
Clarke was the sides top scorer this season and will lead the line again in August.
