An era ended at the Cardiff City Stadium this week when Neil Warnock left his post as the club's manager after just over three seasons at the helm of the club.

In that time, the club were promoted to the Premier League in what was a significant surprise and were then narrowly relegated by the skin of their teeth last year.

However, the current campaign has not gone to plan, with Cardiff sat in 14th place with 16 matches played so far with Sunday's Severnside Derby defeat to Bristol City proving the final straw in his tenure.

It is a move that many fans agree with but with the hunt now on for their new boss, opinions are beginning to divide.

Predominantly between the fans and the club's board. On Wednesday it emerged that whilst a third candidate had entered the fray, ex-Millwall boss Neil Harris remained the favourite among those at the club.
