‘A point more than we deserved’ – Bristol City fans speak out after Brentford draw

Bristol City did extremely well to manage a draw against Brentford last night, with the game finishing 2-2.
Former Preston man Josh Brownhill scored the opener after a defensive mistake from the home side allowed Famara Diedhiou to find him on the edge of the box and power into the bottom right corner.
Ollie Watkins then headed in a second half equaliser before Neal Maupay looped in a ball over Frank Fielding to give the home side the lead.
The equaliser then came in the 98th minute of the game, after Nathan Baker launched a volley at goal, which ended in a goal mouth scramble allowing Bobby Reid to slam home a late equaliser.
This was despite an incredible amount of pressure from Brentford, who undoubtedly deserved a win after their stunning attacking display, and plenty of shots on goal.
Here’s what Bristol City fans had to say on Twitter following the result….
£5m signing Bobby Reid looks good value. Young Famara still a work in progress though, maybe loan him to a Swedish team?#BristolCity

If we can add some steel and nous to our obvious qualities, we can push top half comfortably. #bristolcity

Bobby Reid may have rescued a point but Frankie Fielding well and truly kept us in that game. Good point for us #BristolCity
