Birmingham City boss Harry Redknapp has completely overhauled the squad at St Andrews this summer, in his attempt to turn the Blues from relegation contenders to promotion candidates in a matter of months.

In the final days of the transfer window, Redknapp completed a host of signings, and will now feel that he has a squad at his disposal that is capable of challenging for a place in the top-six.

Defensively, Redknapp has overseen a complete overhaul, with enough new players brought in this summer to field a whole new back-line.

Birmingham travel to Norwich City this weekend, looking to pick up just their second win of the season, and a solid defensive display could prove the difference in East Anglia on Saturday.

With that in mind, Redknapp must choose carefully, but a defensive unit of Maxime Colin, Harlee Dean, Marc Roberts and Cohen Bramall is the quartet that the former Tottenham boss must opt for.

The four are all new to the club this summer, with Dean and Colin joining in the final hours of the summer transfer window.

The pair have appeared regularly for Brentford this season, so are certainly match-fit, and should slip straight into the starting XI at the club.

Roberts joined from Barnsley and has impressed thus far, and Bramall, who earlier this year was playing non-league football with Hednesford Town before a dream switch to Arsenal, should maintain his position on the left side of defence.

It may take time for the new men to settle into the club, but each player is teeming with quality, and will certainly become regulars at the West Midlands outfit in the coming weeks.

Who would you start at the back against Norwich, Blues fans?
