Fulham will be desperate to bounce straight back into the Premier League at the first time of asking after being emphatically relegated from the top-flight last season.

Now led by Scott Parker, the South-West Londoners are yet to bring in any new faces, although the tying down of Aleksandr Mitrovic to a new long-term deal marked a big moment in their summer.

But it looks like they are set to bring in their first new name in the form of Wolves winger Ivan Cavaleiro, according to John Percy of the Telegraph.

So, would this be a good signing?

We discuss...

Toby Wilding

"I can see this being a good signing for Fulham.

"Caveleiro proved during Wolves' march to the Championship title little over a year ago just how good a player he was at this level, and with Fulham looking to do the same in the upcoming campaign, that could make the Portuguese winger's experience and ability crucial.

"Having already tied Aleksandar Mitrovic - who himself was key to Fulham's own promotion that same season - to the club, you feel that the link-up between the pair could provide Fulham with a duo both creative and clinical enough to cause problems for just about any defence in the Championship.

"Having spent so much on transfer fees and wages last year, it seems smart to make this a loan move, for now, allowing Fulham to maintain some form of financial stability as well, as they look to cope with the loss of revenue brought about by their relegation from the Premier League."

Jacob Potter

"This would be a great signing for Scott Parker's side ahead of the new season.

"They've already got a relatively strong squad at Championship level, but they could benefit from signing another winger, as it looks as though Ryan Sessegnon is heading for the Craven Cottage exit door in the near future.

"Cavaleiro has already shown that he is a great player to have in the Championship, having scored nine goals and assisted 12 goals when Wolves won promotion to the Premier League.

"If they signed him, I think they'd be one of the favourites to win promotion back into the top-flight at the first time of asking."

Louie Chandler

"This would be a perfect bit of business for Fulham.

"With Ryan Sessegnon perhaps to leave this summer, the wide areas are set to be an area where Scott Parker will need to strengthen more than others.

"And, in terms of proven talent, they do not come much more ready-made than Cavaleiro. Yes, he may have fallen down the pecking order for Wolves in the Premier League but having netted nine goals and assisted 12 more in their promotion-winning season, he is not without his uses.

"Tying Mitrovic down was an outstanding coup for Fulham and signing the Wolves winger would be yet another one."
