West Brom were fortunate to leave with a point from their local derby clash with Birmingham City last night, with Darren Moore's men nowhere near their best.

Blues were guilty of spurning several clear chances, including a penalty that would've put them 2-0 up in the first-half.

Whilst Albion deserve credit for fighting back, and they did finish well, fans will be alarmed at how poor they were.

A key reason for that was the lack of control in midfield. Jake Livermore and Chris Brunt were the two chosen to play in the middle of the park but neither had any influence on the game.

The Northern Irishman was particularly poor and was replaced in the 78th minute by Gareth Barry, with Albion looking better once the former Aston Villa man was on the pitch.

Despite his status at the club, fans have not been impressed with Brunt's performances from central midfield this season.

Here's how some fans on twitter reacted to his display last night...
