Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Nick Pope is attracting the attention of a number of clubs up and down Britain, including Leeds United, Crystal Palace, Celtic, and Burnley, according to TeamTalk.

In a season to forget for Charlton, which has been rife with disappointment and poor performances, collectively leading to relegation, one of the few positives the Addicks can take from this have been the performances of shot-stopper Pope.

The performances of Pope have shown the raw ability and talent that he possesses, and the likelihood of Charlton being able to keep hold of the goalkeeper beyond the summer transfer window looks extremely unlikely such is the interest from a number of clubs.

With Leeds United considering selling their current number one goalkeeper Marco Silvestri, as he is linked with moves back to Italy, Pope would come into the side with the possibility of being first choice at Elland Road.

This is in comparison to Crystal Palace and Burnley who, although are in the Premier League, the likelihood of Pope breaking into the first team and getting regular first team football over Wayne Hennessey and Tom Heaton respectively looks unlikely.

The other option for Pope could be Celtic, who do have the funds and Champions League football to entice Pope to go north of the border. However, it is yet to be confirmed how much of an interest Celtic have in the Charlton keeper.

Although Charlton will be reluctant to let Pope leave the club, it is looking more and more likely as he attracts more and more potential suitors.
