Deadline day was a reasonably quiet day at Elland Road, with Leeds United just doing one piece of major business, with Tyler Roberts arriving in West Yorkshire from West Bromwich Albion.

Roberts agreed a four-and-a-half year deal with Leeds, completing a steady window for the Whites, who also added a left-back and central midfielder to their squad.

Laurens De Bock covers Leeds’ problem position of left-back, whilst Adam Forshaw adds some Championship nous to the middle of the park.

Phil Hay from the Yorkshire Evening Post has been reflecting on Leeds’ transfer window, highlighting the club’s three major deals, whilst also highlighting the work the Whites have done within the under-23 squad, which once again, has been significantly invested in.

Leeds’ supporters had perhaps hoped for a more senior striking option than Roberts yesterday, with Thomas Christiansen’s hopes of securing play-off football fading fast, as his rivals all significantly bolstered their options on deadline day.
