Leeds United continued their fine start to the season, with Marcelo Bielsa's side maintaining their position on top of the Championship despite only picking up a point against Derby County at the weekend.

Bielsa continued with the selection of winger Jack Harrison in the starting XI, relegating on loan wide-man Helder Costa to the bench again, with the Wolves man coming on to replace Harrison on 58 minutes.

So, has the time come for Bielsa to start with Costa in place of Harrison after another tough afternoon?

We discuss........

Chris Gallagher

"Without a doubt - and it should have happened a few games ago.

"You can understand why Bielsa wants to stick with players who have performed for him but Harrison has struggled in recent games and the reality is that Costa is a much better player.

"It was a massive coup for the Whites when they managed to bring the winger in from Wolves and it's bizarre that he hasn't been in the XI from the off.

"Leeds are wasting too many chances right now so bringing in the Portuguese international is a no-brainer for the boss next week."

Toby Wilding

"I think he has to consider it.

"Harrison did start the season in promising form, but has seemed to drop off slightly in recent weeks.

"That will be a concern for Bielsa, and he won't want dropping points to become a recurring theme, particularly given what happened at the end of last season.

"In Costa, they certainly have someone who is more than capable of stepping into that role, given he has shown during his time in this division with Wolves that he is more than capable of providing that spark to help kill games off, something it seems as though Leeds may need right now."

Jacob Potter

"He should have done this weeks ago in my opinion.

"Harrison looked like a player that had improved under Bielsa’s guidance at the start of this season, but he’s not been up to the standard required for Leeds in recent weeks.

"When you’ve got players with the quality that Helder Costa has sat on the bench, you cannot afford to waste such talent.

"Costa won’t have signed for the club on loan to just feature as a substitute, so he deserves a run in the starting XI in the near future.

"Bielsa can’t keep playing players that are out of form, and Harrison is certainly one of them at this moment in time.

"This should be a no-brainer for Bielsa, especially if he wants to pose more of a threat going forward from wide areas."
