Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich has not made an impact at Elland Road since arriving from FC Twente in the summer.

The central midfielder has only really been involved in League Cup fixtures, and has more often than not, not even been included in the matchday squads in the league at all.

The 27-year-old Polish star is today being linked with a move back to Holland in January according to reports in Poland (via the Yorkshire Evening Post)

Is this a surprise?

We discuss.....

George Dagless

Not a surprise.

There'll be disappointment if it happens as Klich has some pedigree but I think he's blown it with his social media post last week.

He'll probably go and excel in Holland but I think it is best if Leeds and the player go separate ways.

Alfie Burns

It's hardly surprising to see Klich linked with a move away from Leeds in January, as his contribution so far has been extremely disappointing.

Whether on-loan or permanently, the 27-year-old needs to get out of Elland Road in the New Year, as things just haven’t worked out for him.

Klich obviously has ability, but his attitude at Elland Road hasn’t been good enough, and a return to Holland in January might be best for all parties involved.

Chris Gallagher

A move would suit all parties.

The switch to Leeds hasn't worked out as anyone would've liked and you'd imagine Leeds will be in for another midfielder in Janaury, which will push Klich further away from the team.

It's one of those things in football but it doesn't look good for the recruitment team and Victor Orta who need to ensure similar mistakes are less frequent in the upcoming window.
