Sheffield United missed out on a golden opportunity to move back to the top of the Sky Bet Championship table last night, losing 5-4 to Fulham in a hugely entertaining clash at Bramall Lane.

Leon Clarke continued his fine form, scoring a hat-trick for the Blades, whilst Samir Carruthers was also on the scoresheet for Chris Wilder's side. However, it was not a night for defending, and a hat-trick from teenage sensation, Ryan Sessegnon, along with two Sheyi Ojo goals handed Fulham all three points.

One player whose performance was always set to go under the microscope was John Lundstram, who had been drafted in by Wilder to replace Paul Coutts, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the Championship season after breaking his leg.

Lundstram, 23, completed the full 90 minutes for the Blades, but his performance pulled a mixed reaction from the club’s supporters, with some praising his efforts, whilst others called for him to be dropped.
