West Brom are set to battle it out with several Championship rivals as they look to secure a deal for in-form Portsmouth man Jamal Lowe.

The 24-year-old winger is the top scorer at Fratton Park this season and is a major reason as to why the South Coast side are currently top of the table.

However, Pompey could struggle to keep Lowe this month, with Sky Sports reporting that Leeds, Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough are all considering making a bid for the player, along with the Baggies.

Albion's need for a winger could be increased, with reports suggesting the talented Harvey Barnes could be recalled by Leicester.

Meanwhile, Matt Phillips has also been linked with a move away from The Hawthorns this month.

So, would Lowe be a good signing for Darren Moore's men?

We take a look...

A Matt Phillips replacement?

Of course, he isn’t at that standard, but Lowe is a good player that could aid Darren Moore during the second-half of the season.

It’d be interesting to see him link up with some of West Brom’s other attacking players

Louie Chandler

A smart move.

West Brom's attack has been brilliant so far this season but has looked threadbare when any key members pick up a knock.

Lowe would be the perfect man to bring in.

Chris Gallagher

He would be a good signing.

Lowe has been superb in League One this season and it seems clear he is ready to make the step up.

However, if he is a replacement for Phillips or Barnes, who have been linked with moves away, it would be a concern, as they are big boots to fill.
