Millwall are a club with a history of utilising the loan system to not only help develop young promising players by feeding them first team football, but to also strengthen their side for lengthy period, when they can't finance a permanent move for a player.

A couple of seasons ago, Millwall managed to secure Tottenham's Harry Kane on loan for half a season, which has led to Kane becoming one of England's most accomplished strikers of current years, with his first successful season coming at the Den.

With a lot of up and coming young talent in the Premier League, that will all be looking for a loan move away to prove their worth to their parent clubs, now returning to the Championship the Lions should definitely utilise this strategy to hold their place in the division.

Chelsea's Ike Ugbo, is a wonderkid who Chelsea will certainly be looking to send out on loan and gain some valuable experience, after such an outstanding personal season for the Blues academy.

The 18-year-old, has scored 26 goals in 33 appearances, which included his magnificent goal in Chelsea's FA Youth Cup victory, as well competing in the Checkatrade Trophy as part of Chelsea's development squad.

Ugbo also oozes confidence, with his explosive pace to get beyond defenders, alongside his ability to impose himself upon defenders due to his raw strength and agility, everything about Ugbo just screams elite athlete.

If Neil Harris was able to capture this starlet on loan, Ugbo partnering the Lions already deadly strike force of Steve Morison and Lee Gregory, Millwall will be a serious threat up front next campaign.

Additionally, with competition not getting an easier at Chelsea with the likes of Michy Batshuayi and Tammy Abraham on the cards at Chelsea, not to mention Diego Costa, Ugbo will need all the experience he can get if he is to compete for a spot at Stamford Bridge, making a loan move down to the Championship very likely.
