Aston Villa have been in tremendous form in recent weeks, winning four of their last six games and scoring 19 goals in the process.

A well-fought 2-2 draw against local rivals West Bromwich Albion last Friday was the latest of the decent results and they will be hopeful of adding another against Stoke City this weekend.

Some more, slightly surprising, news emerged from the club on Wednesday when it was revealed that the club had rejected the chance to have their FA Cup third round tie shown on TV in order to keep it on a Saturday at 3pm.

Villa have also offered discounted tickets for the clash with adults able to get to the game for £10 and season ticket holders able to watch for nothing at all.

It is a move that is sure to go down extremely well with the club's fans, especially in the build-up to Christmas and the busy football calendar that comes with it.

It is a move that has unsurprisingly gone down very well with the fans and with other fans as well...
