Stoke City are finding life hard in the Championship under Gary Rowett, following relegation from the Premier League last season.

It looks like being far from straight forward for the Potters to win promotion at the first time of asking after a stuttering start to their league campaign.

It's fair to say it's been a rollercoaster at the Bet365 Stadium over the last few seasons.

With that in mind, our team give their views on the most shocking moment at the bet365 Stadium in the last three years...

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

Last year, the season the club were relegated.

Mark Hughes got it woefully wrong in the transfer market and was unable to fill gaps in the side, and actually widened them.

Too many troublemakers in the side and Hughes was sacked before Paul Lambert tried in vain to keep the Potters up.

Ten years in the Premier League gone after a summer of mismanagement from top to bottom.

A dreadful time for the Potters.

George Dagless

I think last season's capitulation.

They showed no fight when, actually, that is the one thing you had come to expect from Stoke in the Premier League.

That and Marko Arnautovic's exit which was acrimonious to say the least.

Gary Hutchinson

There’s a few to pick from last season, but dare I say the 3-0 defeat to Wigan a couple of weeks ago?

Stoke weren’t expecting the baptism of fire they’ve got, nor were they thought to be below West Brom or Swansea at this stage.

But Wigan, League One last season, doling out a sound thrashing?

There’s still repercussions to be seen from that.
