Nottingham Forest seem to have suffered a blip at the worst time, with two defeats and a draw in their last four outings, enough to see Martin O'Neill's side drop to 11th in the Championship, still three points off the final play-off place, with only eight matches of the season remaining.

O'Neill rang the changes at the weekend in the 1-1 draw with struggling Ipswich Town with centre-back Alexander Milošević dropped in favour of Udinese loanee Molla Wagué.

Milošević has been a regular for O'Neill since signing on an 18 month deal on 1st February 2019 and has made eight appearances for Forest so far this season.

S0 was it a surprise to see O'Neill drop Milosevic for Wague at the weekend?

We discuss.......

Gary Hutchinson

“Yes, I’m a bit disappointed in him to be honest.

“I hoped to see Forest kick on, but O’Neill looks confused as to what his best line up is.

“I was hugely in favour of him taking over, but I’m wondering now if it was the right move."

Jacob Potter

"It was a bizarre decision.

"He didn’t deserve to be dropped from the starting XI, and I think this is one of the reasons as to why Forest dropped yet more points.

"A costly decision."

George Harbey

"I really was surprised.

"Wague turned out to have a decent game, but dropping Milosevic after the form he’s been in since he signed was quite bizarre.

"His team selections have been risky to say the least."

Jay Taylor

“Very much so – Milosevic has been sensational since his move to the City Ground.

“Not only that, but he was building up a nice little partnership with Yohan Benalouane, too.

“A strange decision, but I guess O’Neill is still sounding out his players fully.”
