‘A contrast in styles I think will cancel each other out’ – Millwall v Swansea: The verdict

Published

on

Millwall need to up their game when they host Swansea City in the Championship at the Den in the late Saturday game.

But how do our team see this one going?

We discuss…..

George Dagless

Swansea play some great football but Birmingham showed sometimes that they can be got at with physical, powerful players.

Millwall have that in their locker but the Swans could have too much quality. 2-1 to the away side.

Alfie Burns

Millwall is such a tough place to go, as Swansea will find out this weekend.

The Swans have played some really nice football so far this season, but The Den isn’t the place for nice football.

Neil Harris will have his side fired up for this.

1-0.

Jay Taylor

Millwall have suffered two successive league defeats and struggled to make it through to the third round of the League Cup.

Swansea, meanwhile, are slowing going about their business and putting in some good performances and getting their rewards from it.

The Lions at The Den is a tough prospect for anyone but they have defensive issues at present that Graham Potter will be looking to exploit.

A contrast in styles I think will cancel each other out.

A 1-1 draw in the evening kick-off.

Gary Hutchinson

1-2

I fancy Swansea for this one. They’re playing nice football and are building slowly.

They’ve not made the big signings people expected, in some quarters their policy has been labelled as asset stripping, but it works for them.

I think they’ll nudge out the home side by the odd goal in three.
