Kadeem Harris has hailed Sheffield Wednesday teammate Fernando Forestieri as 'a class act'.

The 29-year-old has made just nine appearances for the Owls in the Championship this term, leading to plenty of calls from supporters for him to play a more key role.

Garry Monk has a number of striking options at his disposal and that has meant that Forestieri has found first team opportunities hard to come by.

But after featuring more regularly as a second half substitute of late, Harris has backed the 29-year-old to play a key role for the Owls this term.

Speaking to the Sheffield Star, he said: "Every single one of the strikers here are top quality in this league.

“When there's a period of time when things are necessarily going your way, it's only a matter of time before that changes. We need that bit of luck in front of goal, we could probably do a bit more to create chances and score at times.
“Nando is a class player, a class forward and I'm sure his introduction will play a big part in that.” Can you name every Sheffield Wednesday top scorer from the last 15 years? Have a go! The verdict There's no doubting the talent that Fernando Forestieri has at his disposal. Garry Monk has made a solid, if unspectacular start to the season with Sheffield Wednesday, and while the 29-year-old is a talent, it's a question of whether he fits into the system at Hillsborough. Of course Forestieri is capable of having a big impact this term, but first he must prove himself as a tactically trusted member of the squad.
