Nottingham Forest were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw with Preston North End at the weekend, with Sabri Lamouchi's side going unbeaten in their last five league games.

The Reds went into the clash bound to be full of confidence after a magnificent 2-1 win against Fulham at Craven Cottage last weekend in the league, as well as a 3-0 victory over Derby in the Carabao Cup in midweek.

But North End, who defeated an in-form Sheffield Wednesday side last week, were the team who were much better in the first-half, with Billy Bodin striking in the 39th minute for the visitors.

It rounded off what had been a very disappointing half from Forest, who failed to get into their usual, slick tempo in midfield, hence prompting Lamouchi into bringing Samba Sow on at half-time.

The combative midfielder immediately added power and drive to the Reds' midfield, and he helped Forest salvage a late point when Albert Adomah slammed home in the 79th minute.
