Millwall have completed the loan signing of winger Ben Marshall from fellow Championship side Norwich City for the rest of the season, it has been confirmed on their club website.
The much-travelled 27-year-old, who joined Norwich from Wolves in the summer, returns to The Den, having spent the second half of last season on loan at the New Den.
Marshall has previously played for Northampton Town, Cheltenham Town, Carlisle United, Sheffield Wednesday, Leicester City and Blackburn Rovers.
So is Marshall a good signing for Millwall?
“A brilliant signing.
“Marshall was top quality for the Lions last season and suited Neil Harris’s style of play down to the ground.
“He will have a point to prove after being largely frozen out at Norwich so I expect it to be a very fruitful move.”
“It’s the move he should have made in the summer.
“I think he expected more game time at Norwich and has maybe been a victim of their success.
“He’s loved at the Den, so this is perfect for him.
“He’ll boost their squad too, he did well last season.”
“An almighty impressive addition.
“The arrival of Ben Marshall to The Den last term catapulted them up the league and changed their fortunes for the season.
“This time around, the Norwich man arrives in a similar circumstance and would be the catalyst to turning the Lions’ season around once more.
“Millwall fans should certainly be excited with the return of the flying winger.”
