Luton Town's plans for a new stadium, Power Court, were given the green light back in January 2019.

Kenilworth Road has been Luton's home since 1905, and whilst it remains a real atmospheric and traditional stadium, The Hatters need to adapt to the changing demands if they are to reach the Premier League.

Last night, some modifications to the original plans surrounding the ground, the business space and distribution centre that is planned to be implemented at Junction 10 of the M1,  and the residential units that are included within the original proposal, were made and approved by members of the town's council.

Although, not too much focus was made on the ground itself, with a later date in place to revisit modifications to solely Power Court.

Luton are currently fifth in the Championship table, and have enjoyed excellent progression over recent years, meaning the possibility of reaching the Premier League over the next five years has increased dramatically.

The Hatters do possess the same amount of points as Blackpool in 11th, providing somewhat of a false position, but reaching the top-six is certainly achievable.

Here, we take look at how Luton fans have reacted on Twitter to the latest news surrounding Power Court...
