Former Sunderland defender Micky Gray has hit out at Netflix after his interview was omitted from the new series of 'Sunderland Til I Die', which has drawn an interesting response from many Black Cats fans.

The second season of the Netflix docu-series depicts Sunderland's 2018/19 series over six parts.

Using behind the scenes footage, interviews and match action, the series looks to provide fans with an insight into what was a difficult year for the Black Cats.

Jack Ross' side started the year on the back of relegation from the Championship and would suffer two Wembley defeats before the end of the campaign.

The first saw them lose to Portsmouth in the EFL Trophy final and at the end of the campaign they suffered a heartbreaking late defeat to Charlton Athletic in the play-off final.

It is dramatic, to say the least, and makes for some excellent TV, however, it doesn't seem to have pleased everyone.

Gray, who made nearly 200 appearances for Sunderland as a player, has taken to Twitter to hit out at Netflix.

His outburst has drawn an interesting reaction from Black Cats fans, many of whom took to Twitter to voice their thoughts.
