Luton's James Justin is on the verge of joining Leicester, with the Leicester Mercury reporting that the finer details of the deal could be completed early next week.

Justin enjoyed a fantastic season last year as Luton won League One, and it is believed his performances caught the attention of Aston Villa and Celtic.

Details of the transfer are still unknown, but in recent weeks it has been rumoured that it would take £7.5m to lure him away from Kenilworth Road.

The 21-year-old made 43 appearances last season, scoring three and assisting eight. His attacking style is well suited to the Premier League and Luton legend Mick Harford believes he is ready for the step up.

It is a blow for Luton, who could also lose Jack Stacey this summer, but the money they bring in should help to strengthen the squad ahead of their first season back in the Premier League.

Both sets of fans have reacted to the news on Twitter, with some Luton fans still praising the youngster.
