Some Sunderland fans have started to jump on the back of Will Grigg, under a month into his Sunderland career.
The Wigan sensation signed for Sunderland on Deadline Day after a drawn out saga over whether he would be announced or not.
So far, though, Grigg has struggled for form.
The worst incident of this was in the last game where Grigg rounded the goalkeeper, only to put it wide, reminiscent of Fernando Torres’ miss for Chelsea against Manchester United a few years ago.
Sunderland won regardless, with a 4-2 home win over strugglers Gillingham, with Grigg off the mark from the penalty spot.
That result has ensured that Sunderland enter this weekend just four points behind second placed Barnsley, with a game in hand to come.

Whether the Black Cats can obtain automatic promotion is uncertain, with inconsistency plaguing them so far this season.
Sunderland have drawn 14 games so far this season, which is nearly half of their games.
You could view this as a positive thing, but it is also worth noting that if Sunderland turned even just a few of those into wins, they could be in the top two.
The race for automatics could rest on Will Grigg, and with 14 games to go, Sunderland fans should be patient with him.
If they have learnt anything from watching Football League highlights in the last three or four years, they will know that Will Grigg certainly knows where the goal is and when he is on form, he is unstoppable.
It has been a poor start for the Northern Irishman, but the best is yet to come, and Sunderland should be patient with their star man.
