With top-scorer Kemar Roofe out for up to eight weeks with a knee ligament injury, Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa will be looking for a replacement, with Tyler Roberts reported to be the man to come in for him, as reported in the YEP.

With Bolton next up for the Whites it will be Roberts' 15th appearance, in a season that has seen him chip in with three goals and one assist so far.

So is Roberts in for Roofe the right call?

We discuss.....

Louie Chandler

"I think so.

"Roberts is a tireless and versatile worker so would be the ideal candidate to slot in in Roofe's absence.

"It would be good to see Izzy Brown play as well but I see no reason why both can't."

Jacob Potter

"I wouldn’t have made this call.

"I would have gone with Patrick Bamford to start this one, but you can’t disagree with a manager that has been so successful this season with Leeds.

"Bamford is a more prolific goalscorer though, and I’m not sure Roberts has done enough to warrant a starting spot."

Gary Hutchinson

“I assume that means Bamford is still injured and Brown isn’t coming in.

“It’s a dangerous time to be throwing kids in at the deep end.

“I hope it doesn’t backfire.”

Jay Taylor

“It makes sense, doesn’t it?

“They are similar players, and Roberts did the same thing back when Roofe was injured earlier in the season.

“Bielsa’s choice is not reinventing the wheel; it is merely continuity and contingency in place at the club.”
