Swansea City drew with Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night, as Steve Cooper's side once again looked stale in front of goal.

The Swans have scored just 37 goals in the current campaign, the joint-lowest of the top 17 teams of the Championship. Despite sitting ninth in the league table, the goal-scoring record of Cooper's Swansea team is not to be admired.

One man who has been in poor form for a number of weeks is attacking-midfielder Bersant Celina. The ex-Manchester City player had another poor game on Tuesday, and Cooper may be thinking about giving someone else a chance in the coming weeks.

The 23-year-old hasn't quite shown the consistency that he'd have liked during the current campaign, which has seen him score just two goals. In fact, the last of these strikes came way back in August during a victory over Birmingham City, almost six months ago.

On Tuesday night, Celina managed just one shot on goal and yet again failed to contribute much in the final third. Alongside his poor goal tally, he's got just three assists throughout the season.

For a player of his quality, he'll be expecting a better output between now and the end of the campaign. Last season, he managed five goals and six assists in the Championship and the way he's going at the moment he may well struggle to get to that tally.

Against the R's, Celina did look to drive his side forward with his dribbling. This is something that he does well, and that shone through in his dribbling success statistics. He achieved a 67% success rate, with over half of his dribbles being completed.

Other than though, his performance going forward was lacking for the Swans–failing to contribute either a goal or an assist, taking just one shot and only succeeding with 40% of his passes to the box.

When a player is out-of-form for so long, some may question the manager's inability to change the system or positioning of the midfielder. It will be interesting to see if he finishes the season still in Cooper's first XI.

If Swansea want to make the top six then they have to ensure that they get the creative Celina back in-form and making chances for players such as Andre Ayew and Rhian Brewster.
