Bristol City's hunt for promotion via the play-offs is well and truly on, after picking up yet another three points in midweek.

It's now seven wins on the bounce for Lee Johnson's men after picking up a win over Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night, but the Robins did have to work hard for it.

Matt Smith put the R's ahead on the stroke of half-time, however goals from Niclas Eliasson and a late penalty from Famara Diedhiou secured an invaluable three points for City, who now sit 5th in the Sky Bet Championship table.

There were many players who showed fight and spirit to get the Robins back into the game, but one player who grabbed the headlines is defender Adam Webster, and he is the man to feature in our FLW Spotlight today...

Webster has been a solid figure and a solid replacement for Aden Flint this season, who departed for promotion rivals Middlesbrough in the summer, but the former Ipswich man was at his best on Tuesday.

Defensively, he was reliable as ever, making one clearance and intercepting four times, and contained towering QPR forward Matt Smith with ease despite the latter's powerful presence.

But a key part of City;s football is playing out from the back, and the 24-year old is such an important player for Johnson's brand of football.

The central defender accrued a pass success rate of 83.5% from an impressive 91 passes, playing two key passes and hitting nine accurate long balls.

He brings so much more to the team than just heading and kicking the ball away, and he is going to be a massively important player in City's push for the Premier League.
