The Championship will be resuming this weekend and Leeds United fans will be looking to see their side get going once more.

The Whites found the final few games before the international break pretty tough as three losses in four games were recorded, leaving them out of the automatic promotion spots in the table.

For sure, though, they have seen this season that they can string things together and get themselves back into the top two, with Thomas Christiansen seemingly having built a good squad over the summer.

Certainly, though, the January transfer window is going to be needed to ensure the Whites patch up in certain areas, whilst it might also be time for some to go.

Christiansen has proven himself to be a fan of getting lots of deals done in the windows and, with that in mind, here is one player Leeds should show the exit and one they should sign in the next market...

Axed: Bailey Peacock-Farrell

Rated at £90k by transfermarkt, the young goalkeeper really could do with a loan move away to try and get some minutes under his belt.

It's pretty clear that he is third choice behind Felix Wiedwald and Andy Lonergan and so he's bound to be itching for minutes - even if he has to drop down the leagues. There's bound to be plenty of sides looking for a goalkeeper of his talent come January and the Whites should make use of that and seal a temporary deal.

In: Scott Malone

With Gaetano Berardi perhaps not the most solid defensively at left-back - despite his clear commitment to the cause - and Vurnon Anita a utility player, Leeds could do with another left-back.

With that in mind, then, we think Huddersfield's Scott Malone could be ideal on loan.

Leeds' Yorkshire rivals signed the left-back from Fulham in the summer but he hasn't nailed down a first team spot and could be up for a loan move as the Elland Road side chase promotion.
