Nottingham Forest will be looking to bounce back from their loss against Middlesbrough with a win in the mid-week fixtures.

It was an unhappy return to the Riverside for Aitor Karanka as he lost to his former club 2-0 but he'll know that his new side is currently still a work in progress and games like this will happen.

Ideally, though, he'll be looking for them to bounce back sooner rather than later and, fortunately for them, they've got a quick turnaround and opportunity to do just that.

It's Brentford up next for the men from the City Ground and you'd imagine the Spanish boss might just tweak a couple of things from the weekend.

Here's the XI we think he should play...

Costel Pantilimon will surely keep his spot between the sticks.

Tendayi Darikwa is likely to go down the right hand side of defence.

Tobias Figueiredo should also keep his spot in the team.

Danny Fox remains an impressive make-shift centre-half.

Ben Osborn could continue at left-back.

Ben Watson is bound to play in this one.

Jack Colback should also feature in midfield.

£900k-rated Barrie McKay could get a start after coming on against Middlesbrough.

Lee Tomlin should feature behind the main forward.

Joe Lolley should also continue in the side.

Ben Brereton may come in as Apostolos Vellios continues to look short of goals.
