League Two Colchester United continued their brilliant run in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night, as the Essex based club ran out 3-1 winners away at fellow fourth division outfit Crawley Town.

Goals from Luke Norris, a Michael Luyambula own goal and a strike from Luke Gambin saw them through to the quarter finals as the lowest ranked team left in the competition.

The U's have been on a stunning run in the competition this term, with John McGreal's side seeing off Premier League opposition in the form of Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur on penalties in the previous rounds of the cup.

Today brought about the highly anticipated draw for the quarter finals, with many U's fans waiting eagerly to see who their side would get drawn against in the last eight.
