Stoke City are all set to finish the campaign in mid-table after falling away in the race for the Championship play-offs under Michael O'Neill over the course of the final few months of the season.

As a result of this, the Potters are sure to be eyeing a few changes to their current squad as they bid to compete at the higher end of the table in the next campaign, with expectations at the Bet365 Stadium as high as ever.

Many players were linked with moves to and from the Stoke-on-Trent side in January and as a result, there is likely to be a lot of activity this summer.

O'Neill will be seeking to make a real splash in his first full season in charge of the club after taking over from Nathan Jones.

Here, we take a look at NINE transfer rumours from January that Stoke City must consider revisiting this summer.

The young centre back was strongly linked with a move away in January and could well be linked with a move away this summer.

Burnley are one of several clubs that are said to have been interested in the Irishman and could well firm up a move in the coming months.

The Potters may want to consider a sale in order to raise funds for a rebuild as they seek to make a promotion push next term under O'Neill, which means Collins could be a departure that they sanction in order to facilitate this.

Getting back to the Premier League remains a priority for the club.

The winger is currently out on loan at Luton Town and appears to have no future with the Potters past the end of the campaign.

In theory the club could have moved him on permanently during the January window and potentially the Hatters may be interested in such a deal during the summer.

Still possessing an abundance of talent that is well suited for Championship level, Ince is sure to want to move to a club where he is guaranteed to be a regular starter every week.

All in all, his time at Stoke hasn't really worked out and he could be on the move.

Derby County are said to be keen on signing the striker permanently and as a result of this, it would be fair to assume that the former Millwall man has little or no future at the Bet365 Stadium past the end of the campaign.

As with Ince, his move to the Stoke-on-Trent side just hasn't worked out and for that reason he would be much better suited to moving to a club where he can nail down a regular starting spot, in a side which plays more to his strengths.

Still in his prime years, Gregory has a lot to offer.

The towering defender has long been linked with a move away from the Potters and could be set for a lucrative transfer this summer if interest remains from Premier League sides.

Still developing his overall game, Souttar is a player who Stoke are expected to struggle to hold onto and as a result, they could well name their asking price in anticipation of there being bids forthcoming.

Getting the right deal for the Potters will be paramount and there is a growing feeling that they could make a big profit on the player who previously came from Scotland earlier in his career.

The Potters are said to be open to letting the Welsh international leave the Bet365 Stadium this summer and as a result he could well be on the move if the right bid comes in from another club.

Allen's high wages may well scupper widespread interest, although there is bound to be some clubs in England that rate the midfielder highly.

Experienced at both Premier League and Championship level, it would be fair to assume that the Welshman won't be short of offers if he does indeed pursue a move away from Stoke-on-Trent and it could well be the last move he makes in his career.

The pacy attacker represents a potential summer option for the Potters that they could sign on the cheap, with Sheffield Wednesday sure to want to off load some of their current squad if they do indeed get relegated to Sky Bet League One next weekend.

Stoke were previously linked with Harris and could well revisit signing the player in order to add some much needed pace to their attacking ranks.

Although there are no guarantees that he would be a regular starter under O'Neill, the winger would add something different in the final third and could be a good option to use off the bench.

The young Swindon Town defender is a player who have the Potters have looked at signing in the past following his good performances at the County Ground and it appears likely that he could leave the club this summer after they succumbed to relegation to Sky Bet League Two.

Adding to the fact that the player's contract status is uncertain, this could prove to be a very cheap deal should the Potters choose to pursue it this summer.

Should Collins or Souttar depart for big money this summer, the Swindon man could provide the ideal replacement as Stoke look to make a big impact next season.

The young Italian goalkeeper would be a good option for the Potters to look at for the future if they do indeed revisit their interest in the teenager that they previously looked at earlier in the current campaign.

The player is said to be one of the brightest talents in the entire Italian fourth division and as a result it appears that he could well move on to bigger and better things as he seeks to leave his native country.

Although there is interest from other sides in his homeland, the chance to move to England could prove to be more attractive.

The Rochdale striker is a player that Stoke are said to have already spoken too in anticipation of signing him during the upcoming summer transfer window and a as a result of this, we could well see the frontman make the move to the Bet365 Stadium sooner rather than later.

Despite being part of the Dale side which was unfortunately relegated to Sky Bet League Two, Humphrys is a player who has impressed this term and would no doubt jump at the chance to move up the divisions in the EFL if the opportunity to do so ever arose in a few months time.
