After their 2-0 win against Stoke City, QPR could finish the season in eighth if they beat Luton Town on Saturday and results elsewhere go their way.

It's been a really impressive season for Mark Warburton's side, particularly when you consider star man Ebere Eze left in the summer and Bright Osayi-Samuel departed in the winter window.

They've often lacked in consistency but there have been some fantastic performances and many of their signings have really started to find their feet.

Making the step up to become a play-off contender next season will be no easy feat and you'd imagine that a good summer in the transfer market will be crucial if they're to mount a serious challenge for the top six.

With that in mind, we've outlined the 9 transfer rumours from January that QPR must consider revisiting this summer...

Huddersfield Town playmaker Alex Pritchard was one of the players linked with a move to the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium in the January window.

He's struggled in recent years with the Terriers but has proven his quality in the Championship in the past and could add some more creative spark to the midfield.

They didn't sign him in the winter window but he's out of contract in the summer, which is likely to make the deal even more appetising.

Sources have informed Football League World that the R's remain interested ahead of the summer window with Warburton's past experience with the midfielder a key factor.

James Garner has been brilliant for Nottingham Forest in the second half of the season, which may have the R's pondering what might've been.

The west London club were linked with a move for the Manchester United midfielder during the January window but it never materialised.

Instead, he was recalled from Watford and sent out on loan to the City Ground, which has proven a fantastic bit of business from the Reds.

Whether he will be available on loan again in the summer remains to be seen but Garner has been on the R's radar in the past and it would be silly for them not to at least monitor his situation this summer.

One of the biggest stories of the January window for QPR, Charlie Austin's return was much discussed before it eventually went through in the middle of the month.

He was sent out on loan for the rest of the season by parent club West Bromwich Albion and has proven a smart addition for Warburton.

Austin is out of contract at the end of the season and if the issue of salary can be agreed upon, then re-signing the 31-year-old should be a no-brainer.

His contributions on and off the pitch have been a factor in the R's late-season move up the Championship table.

If they cannot do a deal with Austin, then landing another veteran striker in Glenn Murray could be a smart bit of business.

The R's were reportedly in the running for the 37-year-old but he ended up joining Forest instead.

His time there has been hit and miss but there's no denying his goalscoring record in the Championship and he could serve as a useful back up to Lyndon Dykes in Austin's absence.

Murray is set to become a free agent in the summer, so it's certainly something worth considering.

Seny Dieng has cemented his place as the R's number one this season, having spent the previous few campaigns out on loan.

The 26-year-old's performances have not gone completely under the radar, however, and in January Arsenal, Crystal Palace, and Leeds United were linked with a move for the shot-stopper.

Should there be more interest and some enticing offers in the upcoming window, it may just be worth the R's looking to cash in on Dieng while his stock is highest.

That would be an unpopular move but if the fee is good enough, it's something that the west London club would surely consider.

When time was called on Dylan Levitt's loan move to Charlton, QPR and Charlton were linked as potential new destinations for the Manchester United youngster.

The 20-year-old has instead spent the second half of the season out on loan in the Croatian top tier with NK Istra but that move will soon come to an end.

Levitt's quality on the ball could make him an interesting addition for Warburton, while he'll likely be hungry to prove himself after his failed move to the Addicks.

After missing out on Garner in January, reigniting their interest in his Red Devils teammate in the upcoming window could be a risk worth taking.

Jordan Rhodes was another of the strikers reportedly on the R's radar in the January window and making a move for him could be a smart bit of business if bringing Austin back isn't possible.

Though his time at Sheffield Wednesday has ultimately been a disappointment, there have been some promising signs over the past few months and a fresh start in west London could be just what he needs to kick start his career.

Rhodes is set to become a free agent in the summer, which will likely make the move much more cost-effective.

It's not the most exciting move in the world but is certainly one that the R's shouldn't rule out.

It has only been a few months since 17-year-old Sinclair Armstrong signed a new QPR deal but cashing in on him in the summer should not be out of the question.

The Irishman agreed new terms in February that sees him contracted at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium until June 2022, while the club hold the option of a further year.

Goal reported back in January that Celtic, Crystal Palace, and Manchester City were all interested in the teenager.

His new contract is unlikely to put any of those off and it could be worth the R's trying to negotiate a big-money sale.

Another forward that was linked with a move to QPR ahead of the January window, Keinan Davis' situation at Aston Villa remains an interesting one.

The 23-year-old forward has been little more than a bit-part player for them this term but was handed a big new deal back in September.

That is likely to mean Villa will want to keep hold of him but the R's could reignite their interest and push for a loan move in the upcoming window.

Davis' dynamism would offer a different option from the likes of Dykes and Austin, which could make him a useful player in Warburton's squad.
