Portsmouth still very much have work to do in order to finish in the top six in Sky Bet League One this term, with the South Coast club having performed well in recent weeks under Danny Cowley.

A victory for Pompey on the final day at home to Accrington Stanley would guarantee them a spot in the play-offs and put them in with a chance of going one better than last year after they lost out on penalties to Oxford United at the semi-final stage.

After the season is concluded, it is likely that there will be an overhaul of the current squad, with Cowley and his staff sure to want to bring in fresh blood to carry out their footballing ideologies.

With several players out of contract and various players linked with the club, there are sure to be mass changes.

Here, we take a look at NINE transfer developments that we could see emerge at Fratton Park this summer...

The Pompey skipper has been ever present for his side this term under both Kenny Jackett and now Cowley and would be a big miss at Fratton Park if he were to depart the club this summer for pastures new.

Currently running down the final few months of his contract on the South Coast, there has to be a high chance that the midfielder will stay put, with his performances having helped them into their current position.

However his high levels of quality shown this term will also attract admiring glances from elsewhere, so Pompey need to make sure their nail down their man.

Williams is also another player who is set to find himself out of contract at Fratton Park this summer and in a sense he will be pushing hard to prove that he is worthy of another crack.

Th experienced forward player has played in numerous positions along the frontline this term and would arguably be a big miss for Pompey if he did indeed depart for another club.

His previous experience of playing in the Championship is sure to make him an attractive option for many and at the moment it's 50/50 over whether he'll stay or not this summer.

A player who has long been linked with a return to the South Coast after impressing for the club during a previous loan spell, Seddon is sure to be open to a move if Pompey came calling again.

Currently on the fringes at current club Birmingham City, the left back last played regular football during a loan spell with AFC Wimbledon this season and is at a stage of his career where he needs to be in the starting line up.

It is as yet unknown as to whether Cowley likes the player but it could be one that Pompey revisit this summer.

The Scottish keeper has been nothing short of brilliant for the South Coast club this season and is easily the best keeper in the division by some distance.

His performances at League One level are sure to ramp up speculation over his future come the summer, with his current contract running down at the time of writing.

He is bound to be one of the main men that Portsmouth want to tie down for the long term and as a result a contract offer is sure to land on his lap in the near future, although it wouldn't be a shock if he was snapped up by a Championship side.

The Pompey centre back has been in good form again this term and is at a stage of his career where he may well be considering whether he wants to stay on the South Coast for the foreseeable future or not.

Other clubs are bound to be interested in him because of his level of defensive skills and ball playing ability and for that reason the club could struggle to hold onto him this summer.

Interest from the Championship may be too strong to turn down and as a result he could well depart Fratton Park for a bigger side.

The experienced former Bournemouth full back has come in and provided good cover in defence for Pompey and could well earn himself a fresh contract this summer if he impresses Cowley during these final few games.

However the return and good form of Lee Brown could now see him fall down the pecking order to second choice and as a result he may well seek a move away in search of more regular first team football.

His experience is sure to prove invaluable during this run in and potentially a coaching position at Fratton Park could be on the cards further down the line.

Hiwula is something of an enigma to Pompey this term and has rarely played regularly at Fratton Park for much of the campaign as he continues to struggle to oust John Marquis from the starting eleven.

Lacking any real finishing prowess, the frontman is more than likely to depart the club this summer, with Cowley sure to want to bring in some more firepower that he can trust to perform on a regular basis.

It simply hasn't worked out for him on the South Coast and as a result it seems all the more probable that he will depart for pastures new.

The Pompey winger continues to be linked with a move away from Fratton Park and has once again been one of their main men this season under first Jackett and now Cowley.

His end product is always improving and he still has his prime years as a professional ahead in the long run, a factor which could attract several potential suitors this summer as he weighs up his future.

He is currently under contract with Pompey, however a substantial bid could tempt them into cashing in on his services if the deal is right for all parties involved this summer.

The young centre half has been linked with a move back to England this term, with Pompey said to be one of a few clubs interested in securing his services.

The player has been on loan at Wigan Athletic this term from Dutch club Feyenoord and has greatly impressed for the Latics despite the lowly League One side battling relegation for much of the campaign as they beat the drop.

He will no doubt weigh up his options this summer and Pompey are sure to be an attractive option if they come forwards, particularly if Jack Whatmough departs in the next window.
