With four games left in the Premier League season, Leicester City are in a strong position to claim Champions League football once again for the first time in four years.

They made European football's elite competition after winning the Premier League in 2016 and Brendan Rodgers is set to guide them there yet again after a fantastic season.

Rodgers and his staff can almost look towards next season with just a few more wins needed, so let's look at what transfer developments may occur this summer going both in and out of the King Power Stadium.

Fuchs has been a valiant servant to the Foxes having joined in 2015 and won the Premier League in his first season with the club.

His contract expires this summer though and at the age of 35, the Austrian is coming to the end of his career and has made just nine league appearances this season, so he could be heading out of the exit door.

Teenage left-back Thomas has made his Leicester breakthrough this season, playing 10 times in the Premier League and netting his first goal in a Europa League clash with Braga.

If they're both fully-fit though, Ricardo Pereira and Timothy Castagne will no doubt be the first-choice wing-backs and even though squad rotation may be needed next season due to playing in Europe (as of right now anyway), a loan spell in the Championship might do Thomas' development the world of good.

Choudhury may be out of the exit door this summer at Leicester having made just nine Premier League showings this season.

Norwich and Newcastle are believed to be interested in the 23-year-old and at this stage of his career he needs to be getting minutes.

Barnes was having a fantastic season until a knee injury was picked up in February - he'd scored 13 goals in 35 matches in all competition and just days before his setback he was being linked with Liverpool and Manchester United.

The 23-year-old has developed a lot in recent times but if Leicester get Champions League football, it's hard to see them cashing in on the winger.

If you believe many reports, Leicester are interested in bringing Edouard in from Celtic this summer but face a battle with lots of clubs, including Arsenal.

Edouard and Rodgers worked together at Celtic and he may jump at the chance to link-up with the Northern Irishman again - especially if Champions League football is on offer.

22-year-old centre-midfielder Soumare plies his trade at French side Lille and The Sun are reporting that Leicester are ready to make a £35 million swoop for him.

The 12-cap France under-21 international would come into a packed midfield, with the likes of Wilfried Ndidi and Youri Tielemans to battle with for a place, but the Foxes need more depth for their expected European campaign.

More often now we see English youngsters go abroad for footballing opportunities, and that's what Madueke did when he swapped Tottenham for Dutch giants PSV in 2018.

Now capped by England's under-21 side, the 19-year-old winger has scored seven times in the Eredivisie this season in 22 outings and with the Daily Mail reporting that Leicester have made an enquiry, it seems like a no-brainer to try and get him in.

Lingard has had a complete renaissance since moving to West Ham in mid-season, and his performances will no doubt create an auction this summer.

The Hammers will be hopeful of landing him on a permanent deal, but Leicester may be able to offer something that they can't at the end of the season - Champions League football - and interest was credited from the Foxes back in February, although he will cost a heck of a lot more than the £10 million insinuated by the Express.

Kelechi Iheanacho may be in fine form right now, but Leicester could be set to add another striker for their European assault.

The Athletic believe the Foxes are readying up a summer offer for prolific Brentford forward Toney, who has scored 30 Championship goals this season.

With Jamie Vardy getting a bit older now, Toney could provide an added threat at the top end of the pitch.
