There is going to be another big summer of recruitment on the horizon for Leeds United when the 2020/21 season comes to an end.

Leeds have been a super addition back to the Premier League and are looking to finish in the top-half of the table over the course of the final four fixtures of the season.

Marcelo Bielsa will then be eager to see his squad evolve in the summer transfer window, with the view of keeping Leeds on a strong trajectory.

With that in mind, we look at NINE previous rumours we expect Leeds to revisit in the summer, as they look to freshen up their squad…

Alfie McCalmont has had a good loan with Oldham Athletic this season, hitting doubles figures for goals, as well as registering five assists.

Next season, Leeds’ plan seems to be for McCalmont to head out on loan into League One, after mastering League Two.

That will certainly be one thing to consider for the Whites this summer.

As the summer approaches, Leeds are yet to agree a new contract with Alioski and all roads appear to point towards the exit door for the Macedonian.

Bielsa might want to keep the 29-year-old around, but there’s no denying Leeds need better at left-back.

On the topic of left-back, Tagliafico is a name that’s emerged quite recently as Leeds look to solve a problem position.

The Ajax ace could be an astute piece of business.

Phil Hay has previously linked Leeds with a move to sign Perraud from Stade Brest.

The 23-year-old is another option to come in and help Leeds solve their left-back issues.

Again, he’s an upgrade.

Tyler Roberts has had a decent run in the side of late and has put himself in contention to stick around at Leeds.

However, you’d imagine he will need to be tied down to a new deal, or Leeds may flog him in the summer.

If that’s the case, expect a host of EFL interest in him, just like January.

De Paul is a name that will not go away when it comes to Leeds United and transfers.

The Udinese midfielder has been linked with Elland Road for the last two transfer windows and his name will crop up again this summer.

If there’s a deal there to be done, you’d imagine Leeds will be having a sniff, even if their interest gets played down all the time.

Midfield is definitely a position that needs strengthening this summer and Leeds have previously been linked with Sibley at Derby.

He isn’t in the same calibre as someone like De Paul, but he’s a player that has potential and room to develop under Bielsa.

That might well get Leeds looking again this summer.

Hernandez has been a bit-part player in the Premier League this season and is fast approaching the final 12 months of his contract at Elland Road.

CD Castellon reportedly made an approach to lure Hernandez ‘home’ previously, with the Leeds midfielder co-owner of the Spanish club.

With his opportunities limited, it may well be that Leeds allow the veteran playmakers the chance to move on.

It appears that Bogusz could be allowed to leave Leeds permanently in the summer.

Reports suggest Leeds will allow Bogusz to leave for €1.5m, but will want an €8m buyback clause in any deal.

One to watch this summer, for sure.
