The 2019-20 Championship season is firmly off and running with the early pace being set by Leeds United, Swansea City and Charlton Athletic.

Whilst at the other end of the table Stoke City, Huddersfield Town and Barnsley are struggling to get up and running.

With the division beginning to settle down after seven rounds of fixtures we highlight the NINE most exciting young Championship players right now.....

Birmingham City midfielder Jude Bellingham made his debut for the Blues this season and has so far scored two goals in four appearances in all competitions for Pep Clotet's side.

The 16-year-old is a product of the Blue's youth set-up and has represented England at U15,U16 and U17 level.

At such a young age, the midfielder is really making a name for himself already at St Andrew's. Keep tabs on him.

Queens Park Rangers' Ebere Eze is enjoying a stellar season at Loftus Road under manager Mark Warburton, with the 21-year-old clocking up three goals and two assists in eight appearances so far this season in all competitions.

Queens Park Rangers also provide our next selection in the form of 21-year-old midfielder Ilias Chair, who is also a favourite of manager Mark Warburton, with one goal and two assists the return for his eight appearances in all competitions.

The diminutive attacker is proving to be a real weapon in QPR's arsenal.

Bristol City youngster Han Noah-Massengo comes next, with the 18-year-old midfielder moving to Ashton Gate from Monaco in the summer.

The French U18 international has made six appearances for Lee Johnson's side in all competitions, and has adapted to Championship life with ease.

The West Brom full-back is enjoying a breakthrough season under Slaven Bilic at West Brom this season, and looks adept both offensively and defensively.

He's looking like a real key cog in the Addicks side.

Wigan Athletic may have had a difficult start to the season but that cannot take away from the impact 17-year-old forward Joe Gelhardt has had at the DW Stadium in his debut season.

The England U19 international has scored once in three appearances in all competitions so far this season, and his strike against Hull City at the KCOM Stadium was certainly one to remember.

One youngster who seems to be very much part of new Middlesbrough manager Jonathan Woodgate's plans is centre-back Dael Fry, who finally looks like he is starting to blossom after five years at the Riverside.

The England U21 international who previously spent spells out on loan at Rotherham United has made five appearances in all competitions so far this season.
